Wellington Golf Co was inspired by a Boykin Spaniel in Birmingham, Alabama, named Wellington, a mutual love for golf, the great outdoors, and pursuing one's passions. Co-founder, Matthew Campbell, has been an avid golfer all his life. He and Hannah met in college and they have always shared a love of traveling and exploring new places. Matthew loves experiencing new golf courses, learning the history of these courses, their architects, and learning what makes a course unique. Meanwhile, Hannah loves to explore new towns around these courses and enjoy a round of golf while not being a golfer herself. Boykin Spaniels are the state dog of South Carolina, where Hannah grew up, and as such, Hannah and Matthew have always loved these little brown dogs. Upon bringing Wellington home, the first thing she could get her little puppy teeth on was a golf ball straight out of Matthew's golf bag, and the rest is history.
